Cloud Burst

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Limited Edition of 50 Exclusive high-resolution Museum Quality Fine Art Prints. Sunset Cloud Burst over the Madison River.

The Madison River is a headwater tributary of the Missouri River, approximately 183 miles (295 km) long, in Wyoming and Montana. Its confluence with the Jefferson and Gallatin rivers near Three Forks, Montana forms the Missouri River.

The Madison rises in Teton County in northwestern Wyoming at the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon rivers, a location known as Madison Junction in Yellowstone National Park. It flows west then north through the mountains of southwestern Montana to join the Jefferson and Gallatin rivers at Three Forks. The Missouri River Headwaters State Park is located on the Madison at Three Forks.[2] In its upper reaches in Gallatin County, Montana, the Hebgen Dam forms Hebgen Lake. In its middle reaches in Madison County, Montana, the Madison Dam forms Ennis Lake and provides hydroelectric power. In 1959, the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake formed Quake Lake just downstream from Hebgen Dam. Downstream from Ennis, the Madison flows through Bear Trap Canyon, known for its class IV-V whitewater.[3] The Bear Trap Canyon section is part of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area.

The river was named in July 1805 by Meriwether Lewis at Three Forks. The central fork of the three, it was named for U.S. Secretary of State James Madison, who would succeed Thomas Jefferson as President in 1809. The western fork, the largest, was named for President Jefferson and the east fork for Treasury SecretaryAlbert Gallatin.

These exquisite hand-made frames can add several inches to the total width and height of your art piece for a detailed brilliance and warmth that is absolutely unequaled in sophistication and beauty.

For a simple, more cost effective solution to purchasing a paper print and having a local frame shop mount, matt, and put your beautiful print under glass, we can use a simple black or wood toned frame to set off your TruLife Acrylic print.  This will set it apart from the wall without the distraction of a more ornate wood frame with matt, liner, and reflective glass. Just make a note on your order that you would like the simple black external float frame, or Contact Jess to discuss this option.

I am happy to work directly with you about frame choices. You can contact me to discuss your framing questions or set up a consultation call.

Fine Art Print Purchase FAQ

This section answers the most common questions from collectors regarding quality, authenticity, materials, and ordering logistics for my limited-edition prints.

1. Quality, Materials, and Archival Longevity

Q: What makes Jess Lee's prints "museum-quality"?

A: My fine art prints are defined by exceptional resolution, professional craftsmanship, and the use of the industry's highest-grade archival materials. This ensures the image quality remains pristine for decades, meeting the standards required for gallery exhibitions and long-term private collections.

Q: What specific materials and printing processes are used?

A: I create prints using processes that guarantee maximum clarity and longevity:

  • Substrates: Available materials include Lumachrome® HD TruLife® Acrylic, Chromaluxe® Metal, and premium archival pigment prints on fine art cotton-rag paper.
  • Inks: Only fade-resistant, archival pigmented inks are used, offering a wider color gamut and superior durability compared to standard dye-based prints.
  • Resolution: Landscape work and considered wildlife portraits are captured on 100-megapixel medium format systems; fast-action wildlife is captured on 35mm-format professional bodies for frame rate and maneuverability. Each image is offered only at the sizes its own file genuinely supports.

2. Investment, Authenticity, and Exclusivity

Q: Why should I purchase a limited-edition print?

A: Limited editions are a hallmark of collectible art. By restricting the total number of copies produced for a specific image, the scarcity is guaranteed, which generally supports the artwork's collectible value and long-term investment potential. Once an edition is sold out, it is never reprinted.

Q: How is the print authenticated and numbered?

A: Every limited-edition fine art print is authenticated:

Signature: Each print is signed and numbered.
Certificate of Authenticity (COA): A formal Certificate of Authenticity is provided with every purchase. This document details the artwork title, total edition size, medium, and the specific number of your print (e.g., 5/100).
Provenance: This documentation verifies the print's origin and is essential for future appraisal or resale.

Q: What is the typical edition size for your work?

A: Edition sizes vary by image and reflect how repeatable the subject is. Most fall between 100 and 200; some are 50; a few are larger. Every image page states its own edition, and that number is fixed permanently the day it is published.

3. Ordering, Shipping, and Customer Service

Q: How long will it take to receive my print?

A: Since each limited-edition print is custom-crafted to your material and size specifications, production requires careful attention.

Production Time: Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for printing, finishing and quality control. Custom orders and the holiday season may run longer. Rush production is available at a 20-30% premium — contact me if you have a date to meet.
Shipping: Shipping times vary by destination, but tracking information is provided as soon as your artwork ships.

Q: How are the prints shipped, and are they insured?

A: All shipments are handled by professional art carriers and are fully insured against damage during transit.

Packaging: Prints are securely packaged in durable, custom-built crates or specialized art boxes designed to prevent damage.
Damage Policy: If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof. I will immediately initiate an insurance claim and arrange for a prompt replacement at no cost to you.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Due to the custom-made, limited-edition nature of the artwork, all sales are final once production has begun.

Once production has begun, changes cannot be made to the size, print medium, or image selection. Because production starts immediately and materials are custom-ordered for your specific piece, modifications are not possible after order confirmation.

I encourage you to take time to carefully consider your selection. Use the free room preview to see how the artwork will look in your space, and contact me with any questions before ordering.

We only offer replacements or credit if the product is damaged during shipping (see Damage Policy above).

U.S. orders ship FREE. Prints larger than 24"x36" require crating, and framed prints may carry an additional charge — shown before you complete your order. Contact Jess for an international shipping quote. Please allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.
