50 Years of Apex Encounters

Photographing wildlife at a master level requires more than a telephoto lens; it demands decades of fieldcraft, an understanding of ethology, and the grit to endure extreme environments. For over 50 years, Jess Lee has tracked the world’s most elusive predators and megafauna across their natural habitats—from the frozen tundra of Alaska and the deep forests of the Northern Rockies to the stark plains of South Dakota and the high deserts of Arizona.

Frequently Asked Questions: Fine Art Wildlife Prints

Are these wildlife photographs taken in the wild or at game farms?

Every image in this archive is the result of ethical, boots-on-the-ground fieldcraft. Jess Lee does not photograph captive animals, game farms, or baited subjects. These captures represent 50 years of tracking apex predators and megafauna in their natural, untamed habitats—requiring immense patience, extreme weather endurance, and a deep respect for the ecosystem.

Can these wildlife prints be scaled for large architectural spaces?

Yes. Capturing the intricate details of wildlife—from the texture of a grizzly’s fur to the frost on a winter bison—requires flawless data capture. Utilizing ultra-high-resolution, 102-megapixel systems like the Fujifilm GFX 100 II and Nikon Z8, we produce massive, museum-grade prints that can scale up to 120 inches wide without losing a single detail, perfect for vaulted great rooms and luxury lodges.

Are these wildlife photography prints limited edition?

Yes. To protect the investment value for our collectors, these fine art prints are released in strict limited editions. Each piece is custom-crafted using premium archival mediums like Lumachrome HD Trulife® Acrylic and ChromaLuxe Metal, shipped directly to your location, and includes a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
