Magic Morning Mount Moran at the Oxbow Bend
Grand Teton, National Park, Wyoming
Grand Teton Photography Gallery, Fine Art Photos, Limited Edition Prints
Wyoming Magic at Mount Moran Photograph in Grand Teton National Park.
"Winter's Whisper, Autumn's Glow: Mount Moran's Reflection at Oxbow Bend"
Step into a moment of serene majesty and breathtaking contrast with this exquisite limited edition print. Here, the magnificent Mount Moran, freshly adorned with a pristine blanket of snow, stands in silent grandeur above the tranquil, mirror-like waters of Oxbow Bend. Its rugged, snow-clad peaks are flawlessly reflected in the glassy surface, creating a captivating symphony of light and form. What makes this scene truly extraordinary is the vibrant tapestry of autumn foliage—the golden aspens and fiery cottonwoods—still ablaze in their full glory around the river's edge, a striking counterpoint to the winter white above.
After years of dedicating myself to photographing the ever-unfolding magic of Grand Teton National Park, a morning like this is an exceptionally rare and cherished gift. To witness fresh, significant snow on the peaks while the autumn colors around Oxbow Bend remain completely uncovered and vibrant is a phenomenon that occurs only under the most unique and fleeting atmospheric conditions. It's a delicate balance of early season snowfall and a brilliant, lingering fall display, creating a visual narrative of two seasons embracing.
The thrill of being present for this exact, improbable alignment of nature's artistry was immense. It was a profound privilege to capture this rare duality, a moment that truly took my breath away and stands as one of the most unforgettable experiences in my extensive time photographing these mountains.
"Winter's Whisper, Autumn's Glow" is more than just a photograph; it is an invitation to bring this unique, once-in-a-season spectacle into your own space. Owning this limited edition print means possessing a piece of Grand Teton's most elusive and breathtaking moments, a constant source of wonder and a vibrant reminder of the park's unparalleled charm.

Oxbow Bend delivers one of the most delightfully pastoral views in Wyoming’s awe-inspiring Jackson Hole valley and Grand Teton National Park. An oxbow is a river’s cut-off, curving meander, or a pool or lake often shaped, as the name suggests, as the wooden yoke on an old-style pioneer wagon, used to harness an ox. The Snake River’s Oxbow Bend, just west of the park entrance at Moran Junction, and a mile east of Jackson Lake Junction, is a fine and particularly scenic example. The Snake’s main current has shifted to the south, creating a reflective backwater, popular with birds such as swans, pelicans, geese and ducks, as well as mammals like otters, moose, elk and other creatures -- including roadside clusters of gawking and often camera-toting humans.
These photos are offered as astonishing quality limited edition fine art prints. My prints are made from the finest materials in the industry and are available as Lumachrome® HD Trulife® Acrylic Prints, Exhibit Mounted Metal Prints, and Fuji Crystal Archive Prints.
I appreciate your taking the time to look at the many images I have to offer and if you have any questions or special needs, I would love to hear from you.

Fine Art Print Purchase FAQ
This section answers the most common questions from collectors regarding quality, authenticity, materials, and ordering logistics for my limited-edition prints.
1. Quality, Materials, and Archival Longevity
Q: What makes Jess Lee's prints "museum-quality"?
A: My fine art prints are defined by exceptional resolution, professional craftsmanship, and the use of the industry's highest-grade archival materials. This ensures the image quality remains pristine for decades, meeting the standards required for gallery exhibitions and long-term private collections.
Q: What specific materials and printing processes are used?
A: I create prints using processes that guarantee maximum clarity and longevity:
- Substrates: Available materials include Lumachrome® HD TruLife® Acrylic, Chromaluxe® Metal, and premium archival pigment prints on fine art cotton-rag paper.
- Inks: Only fade-resistant, archival pigmented inks are used, offering a wider color gamut and superior durability compared to standard dye-based prints.
- Resolution: Landscape work and considered wildlife portraits are captured on 100-megapixel medium format systems; fast-action wildlife is captured on 35mm-format professional bodies for frame rate and maneuverability. Each image is offered only at the sizes its own file genuinely supports.
Creating A TruLife Acrylic Print
2. Investment, Authenticity, and Exclusivity
Q: Why should I purchase a limited-edition print?
A: Limited editions are a hallmark of collectible art. By restricting the total number of copies produced for a specific image, the scarcity is guaranteed, which generally supports the artwork's collectible value and long-term investment potential. Once an edition is sold out, it is never reprinted.
Q: How is the print authenticated and numbered?
A: Every limited-edition fine art print is authenticated:
Signature: Each print is signed and numbered.
Certificate of Authenticity (COA): A formal Certificate of Authenticity is provided with every purchase. This document details the artwork title, total edition size, medium, and the specific number of your print (e.g., 5/100).
Provenance: This documentation verifies the print's origin and is essential for future appraisal or resale.
Q: What is the typical edition size for your work?
A: Edition sizes vary by image and reflect how repeatable the subject is. Most fall between 100 and 200; some are 50; a few are larger. Every image page states its own edition, and that number is fixed permanently the day it is published.
3. Ordering, Shipping, and Customer Service
Q: How long will it take to receive my print?
A: Since each limited-edition print is custom-crafted to your material and size specifications, production requires careful attention.
Production Time: Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for printing, finishing and quality control. Custom orders and the holiday season may run longer. Rush production is available at a 20-30% premium — contact me if you have a date to meet.
Shipping: Shipping times vary by destination, but tracking information is provided as soon as your artwork ships.
Q: How are the prints shipped, and are they insured?
A: All shipments are handled by professional art carriers and are fully insured against damage during transit.
Packaging: Prints are securely packaged in durable, custom-built crates or specialized art boxes designed to prevent damage.
Damage Policy: If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof. I will immediately initiate an insurance claim and arrange for a prompt replacement at no cost to you.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Due to the custom-made, limited-edition nature of the artwork, all sales are final once production has begun.
Once production has begun, changes cannot be made to the size, print medium, or image selection. Because production starts immediately and materials are custom-ordered for your specific piece, modifications are not possible after order confirmation.
I encourage you to take time to carefully consider your selection. Use the free room preview to see how the artwork will look in your space, and contact me with any questions before ordering.
We only offer replacements or credit if the product is damaged during shipping (see Damage Policy above).
U.S. orders ship FREE. Prints larger than 24"x36" require crating, and framed prints may carry an additional charge — shown before you complete your order. Contact Jess for an international shipping quote. Please allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.
