The Horses of Kings Workshop November 12th - 17th 2020
We are back in Mexico once again for 6 days and 5 nights of unbelievable equine photography as we get up close and personal with the PRE horses of Yeguada Ernesto Jimenez off the coast of Baja Mexico.
All transportation, meals, and lodging are included from San Diego California. Alcoholic beverages excluded.
This workshop is open to all levels of photographers and beginners are encouraged to attend. Whether you are looking for a portfolio-building opportunity like no other or a rich learning experience all while having the time of your life, this is the photography workshop you want to attend!
Before you know it you will find yourself surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful PRE/Andalusian horses as we photograph them at liberty, at the farm, and on the beach. You will learn the art of taking elegant horse portraits. Photograph riders and horses in traditional Spanish attire and tack. All of the horses are trained in the tradition of Classical Dressage and the farm has more than 40 mares and foals as well as several leading stallions at our disposal.
This workshop has been a show stopper for the past few years and now it's your chance to experience the magic.
We will begin this workshop the evening of November 12th with a meet and greet dinner (on us) at a local restaurant and discuss the details of the workshop. There are several hotels within walking distance of San Diego bay or the Gas Lamp district that will have shuttles from the airport. I suggest your incoming flight arrive into San Diego International airport no later than 4pm on the 12th. You will be responsible for booking you room for the evening of the 12th. We will depart for Mexico at 11 AM on the 13th. Please plan your departing flights for after 2:00 pm on Tuesday the 17th, 2020. We will depart San Diego at 11:00 am on the 17 th for Mexico. After arriving in Mexico we will have lunch before preparing for our first afternoon photo session. There will be both a morning and afternoon shoots Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We will finish with a final morning shoot on Nov 17th Tuesday before returning to San Diego.
