The Snake River overlook in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming is a great place to make dramatic autumn sunset photos of the Teton Mountain Range with the Snake River and autumn colored cottonwood tress below. In this image I had the perfect sundown lighting conditions over Tetons. There was great fall color, fresh snow and dramatic clouds lingering in the valley of Jackson Hole.

The Snake River Overlook, a view made famous by the master landscape photographer Ansel Adams in the 1942. There have been countless pictures take from this location in the past 80 years but it was until the autumn of 2019 that I finally found the perfect combination of Light, Clouds, and Color to bring this classic image to life for me.

Yes, the ground does shake as a big herd of Bison stampedes past. In this image the blur was intentional to show the power and speed of these awesome animals. Last of the Druids

Last of the Druids, a Yellowstone Wild Wolf Photograph. Lone Druid Wolf Pup. As the once great Druid pack was decimated by disease and attacks by rival wolf packs this young wolf stands strong, bold and secure when I came upon him near a kill. It is suspected this pup later joined one of the other packs and continued to pass on the genes of the once might Druid Wolf pack, the largest pack ever documented. Limited Edition of 800 prints available for purchase by making you selection below.

Magic Morning at Grand Teton Oxbow Bend on the Snake River Wyoming

250 Limited edition prints of this beautiful snow clad mountain reflecting in the Oxbow of the Snake River. © Jess Lee

Oxbow Bend delivers one of the most delightfully pastoral views in Wyoming’s awe-inspiring Jackson Hole valley and Grand Teton National Park. An oxbow is a river’s cut-off, curving meander, or a pool or lake often shaped, as the name suggests, as the wooden yoke on an old-style pioneer wagon, used to harness an ox. The Snake River’sOxbow Bend, just west of the park entrance at Moran Junction, and a mile east of Jackson Lake Junction, is a fine and particularly scenic example. The Snake’s main current has shifted to the south, creating a reflective backwater, popular with birds such as swans, pelicans, geese and ducks, as well as mammals like otters, moose, elk and other creatures -- including roadside clusters of gawking and often camera-toting humans.

These photos are offered as astonishing quality limited edition fine art prints. My prints are made from the finest materials in the industry and are available as Lumachrome® HD Trulife® Acrylic Prints, Exhibit Mounted Metal Prints, and Fuji Crystal Archive Prints.

I appreciate your taking the time to look at the many images I have to offer and if you have any questions or special needs, I would love to hear from you.
