Why Designers Specify Jess Lee Photography
The work a designer presents to a client carries the designer's professional reputation with it. The images in this collection are not stock photography or open-edition prints. They are museum-quality limited editions by a photographer whose work has been published in National Geographic, featured in a Ken Burns Emmy Award-winning PBS documentary series, and exhibited at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles.
For clients who ask — and serious clients always ask — the provenance of a Jess Lee print is an answer that closes the conversation. Fifty years of professional fieldwork. National Geographic editorial credentials. NPS Authorized Permittee access to locations no other photographer can reach. A former gallery owner who has spent decades curating and presenting fine art at the highest level.
That is the story you bring into your client's home.

50 YEARS OF APEX ENCOUNTERS
As a contributor and cover photographer for National Geographic, National Wildlife, Smithsonian, and many others, I have built an archive that reflects a relentless commitment to ethical conservation photography.
Photographing wildlife at a master level requires more than a telephoto lens; it demands decades of fieldcraft, an understanding of ethology, and the grit to endure extreme environments. For over 50 years, Jess Lee has tracked the world’s most elusive predators and megafauna across their natural habitats—from the frozen tundra of Alaska and the deep forests of the Northern Rockies to the stark plains of South Dakota and the high deserts of Arizona.

Africa Wildlife & Safari Interiors
Cheetah, leopard, lion, and elephant photography from the Serengeti and Masai Mara — made on dedicated big cat and endangered wildlife expeditions by a National Geographic contributing photographer with decades of Africa field experience. Suited to safari-inspired interiors, urban luxury residences, boutique hospitality properties, and corporate collections seeking global reach and dramatic visual authority.
The Masai Mara Fire Collection — a curated series of cheetah images captured over a single morning after a grass fire swept the central Mara plain — is available as a multi-piece installation for designers seeking a cohesive narrative for a single space.
