Northern Arizona Photo Tour
Especially equipped 4WD vehicles take us to the remote back country area known as White Pocket

This trip is a 3 day 2 night back country adventure to some of the most unique landscapes on earth. A place of multi colored twisted rock formations that will give you some of the most stunning landscape images ever photographed. You will have opportunities to learn about night photography including star trails and light painting in the perfect unpolluted desert sky as a bonus during this tour, as we have the perfect time and the best place in the Southwest to do it.
We will travel in specially equipped 4 wheel drive vehicles during our trek to the most unfathomable and mysterious place in Arizona to reach our remote camp. At camp all of your camping equipment will be provided from meals to individual tents and sleeping bags. This is not a luxury camp but a chance to experience the true Southwest desert in relative comfort (including toilet tent facilities). You will only need to bring your photo gear and personal items for the two night stay.
Day 1. Meet in page for an overview and orientation for our back country adventure. Then proceed to a location for a evening shoot.
Day 2. We will depart early in our specially equipped four wheel drive vehicles for our trek to some of the most astounding formations Arizona has to offer; " White Pockets". We will arrive to do some afternoon and sunset photography while our crew sets up camp and prepares dinner. After dinner and relaxing around the campfire we will take on the challenge of photographing star tails combined with light painting utilizing White Pockets sensational sandstone formations as our foreground.
Day 3. From sunrise to sunset we will thoroughly cover this small but extremely diverse location. From intricate close ups to wide sweeping landcapes, your senses will be filled with amazement and wonder. After lunch there will be time for a break and an informal discussion about this special place. After dinner we will do more night photography for those still up for it.
Day 4. We will shoot sunrise and continue photographing White Pockets during the remaining good light of morning. After lunch we leave White Pockets and photograph other hidden, remote canyons and hoodoos on our way back to Page.
Day 5 . We again, will photograph sunrise at one or more of the available locations near Page. After a late breakfast and a final discussion about our images everyone will pack up and say our goodbyes before we head off to the airport.
