April 3-10th

This trip will include a 3 day 2 night back country adventure to some of the most unique landscape on earth. A place of multi colored twisted rock formations that will give you some of the most unique landscape images ever photographed. We will capture the best light on some of the greatest Hoodoos in the southwest again traveling to areas out of the reach of the guide books. In between these rarely visited areas, we will spend time in the popular Upper Antelope Canyon and my personal favorite the spectacular Lower Antelope Canyon.

This trip is not strenuous but walks of a mile or more in each direction will be required for a couple of locations.

During our back country adventure we will travel in specially equipped 4 wheel drive vehicles to reach our remote camp. At the camp all of your camping equipment will be provided from meals to individual tents and sleeping bags. This is not a luxury camp but a chance to experience the true Southwest desert in relative comfort (including toilet tent facilities). You will only need to bring your photo gear and personal items for the two night stay, the rest of your personal gear will be safely stored in Page at our regular lodging facility awaiting our return to civilization and hot showers.

You will have opportunities to learn about night photography including star trails and light painting in the perfect unpolluted desert sky as a bonus of this special time and place in the Southwest.
