Faster horses

It was a quick trip down to Colorado to photograph a horse drive then up to Cheyenne to visit my mom, sister and her husband for Mothers Day. The plan was to spend time in Wyoming working on more wild horses but a big spring snow storm came in and changed all of that. For [...]

Wild horse time

I made in back from the southwest after helping my workshop members make some great images and a few personal adventures along the way. I won’t go into much detail but I can tell you that it really gets your attention when a passing pickup driver roars past blowing  his horn and pointing to the [...]

Would You Brag If you had a National Geographic Cover?

Well, I will brag about this one.

Midway Geyser Basin sunrise

Midway is one of my Favorite Locations. It doesn’t have the variety of other basins but the Firehole river and the orange/yellow outflow of the basin seem like a magic combination. On this morning we we lucky enough to be on the bridge just as the sun came over the terrace.

Yellowstone Autumn Grass

Foxy Day

Tomorrow another adventure.

Valentine’s Wolf

It would seem even wolves find this time of the year a good time for showing those they love that they really do care. This older lady was greeting her handsome dark lover after he had just fed on their nearby kill.
It is the height of the wolf breeding season here and we have had [...]

Return to Wolf country

This black wold is coming down to feed on Last nights kill. We shot him and his pack mates for 4 hours this morning near Tower. Most of the locals are happy to see my groups show up since for some reason we find wolves. Just ask them!
