Into the wild winter

OPP’s,
This time it is not a mistake but it is about Other People’s Photos that I am adding to my web site. In this case it is Steve Berkowitz’s photo’s just added to the clients page of my web site.
Steve is a friend, tour alumni (or survivor some would say) and has [...]

The party is over for this year.

Well the winter tours are over in Yellowstone and they ended on a great note. Another 3 dog day and before 9 am.
First we found the agate wolf pack near the specimen ridge trail head where they put on a nice howling display for the cameras. Shortly there after we found this Red Fox digging [...]

Foxy Day

Tomorrow another adventure.

Valentine’s Wolf

Why mention these when we have so many images published each month? I guess it because wild wolf images [...]

The big show in Yellowstone

It is that time again. The bulls are bugling and the photographers are here. This bull was working the crowd along the Madison river while wolves and a grizzly fed on one of his kin at Canyon.

Yellowstone fires 20 years later

Can it be happening again? fire crews are trying to keep the Le Hardy fire from reaching the historic Fishing Bridge complex. Lake Hotel is not far away.
For the past several days I have been shooting the fire and fighting efforts. I even shot the ghost of a grizzly thru the smoke of the fire. [...]

Denali Shuffle ll

Denali wolves are a little easier to photograph than their cousins in Yellowstone but when you are on the shuttle it evens out.
We were lucky with this gal when we came upon here next to the road. She offered me a chance with Denali in the background but that shot is a little bushy. Still [...]
