Centered


This photo shows what can happen when we get to fixed on the action. While it is a good photo the foreground is cut off too close to the bears. This is usually caused by making your composition centered on the central focusing sensor of your camera.

Well the winter tours are over in Yellowstone and they ended on a great note. Another 3 dog day and before 9 am.

Thanks to this guy we had another successful day. Every had good chances to catch this guy near Gibbon meadows while using the snow coach deep inside the park..

Sundays Greeting Wolf


This was one of the greeters when my new group arrived at 11:30 Sunday morning. From then to dark it was non stop wolves except for our quick lunch break about 3:00 pm. From our greeting on we have had wolves to photograph every day. We have truly been blessed with good luck, good scouting [...]

Three dog day


The Fox was mousing north of Norris.
The wolves were chasing bison at Pelican creek.
The Coyote was some where.
We had another great day and enjoyed the company of “Emmy winning” cinematographer Bob Landis.

Geyser Glory


Thermal areas take on a great range of color during the winter. It was a good day in the geyser basins.
