- Yellowstone Wolf Hunting
With the country heating up and mid August here I thought it would be nice to give you all something else to think about. Cooler weather will come and the wolves will hunt their prey in the deep snow.
You may reconise this photo it was a National Wildlife Magazine cover a couple of years ago.

I remember this! Not only is the weather heating up, so are the websites. So something cooler to think about is definitely a good idea! Really beautiful picture. Wild, yet near.

I have been trying to get the word out about the wolves.
Defenders of Wildlife won an injunction to put the wolves back on the Endangered Species List.
But the state of Idaho wants the wolves killed.
Wolves are a very important part of our ecesystem. they weed out the sick,weak,lame and the old in the wildlife herds.
If ranchers and farmers would dispose of the dead carcasses there would not be any predators coming around. When the wolves are gone, then the coyotes and other predators will move in.
