While making a quick trip to Central Arizona before leading my Monument Valley workshop . I spent a little time at the Old Goldfield mine and tourist attraction. If you are not familiar with the place it is near lost Dutchman State park.
Knowing I was late to the party of the great wildflower display in the area I wanted to take the time to work on travel type shots rather than concentrate on the past prime flowers
Even though the sun was making harsh light it was still possible to find some interesting light and subjects as mid day approached. It shows that you can get a nice image if you keep your eyes and your mind open.
