The wildlife in the Northern Rockies is under attack from many directions.
Mining, Timber, and energy extraction all jump to our minds as the problems but there are more.
Think about urban sprawl,recreation properties and second home developments. They all impact the habitat these animals need to live. Even the crazy expansion within our National Parks contribute to the lose of necessary winter and summer range. In reality these actions are products of us as a society. We all need to think about the choices we make as we go about our daily activities. We need to support the organizations that are looking out for wildlife. Many of these organizations have vasty opposing views on some issues But groups from the NRDC to the NRA all are interested in helping wildlife. Send the ones you like money, but also offer your blood,sweat and even your tears in their support. We will all be better for what we give.
