Happy to be home

While I love to travel it is nice to be home again.

I wonder if that is what this guy was feeling?

I don’t think it is possible to put human feeling on animals actions but this Orca we photographed in Alaska seem to be expressing joy or happiness when he breached 3 times in a row. On the other hand maybe he was just trying to shake off a few barnacles ;)

Sure looks happy. The picture makes me feel joy so, if I were to believe that animals could express such emotions, may it is. Or maybe it’s just trying to scratch an itch.
