White Sands
White Sands National monument is one of the icons of the west. Don’t let that fool you, it is not a gemme. The dunes will expand your level of skill. You will come away with new knowlege of exposure and tonal range or you will wonder why your images don’t look as good as others you have seen.
Great shooting can be done at sunset but, sunrise is a real challange. It can be cold this time of year when the sun sets at a low angle in the sky. You will have to jump through hoops to even get in before sun up. I can tell you what the drill is today for early access but tomorrow who knows?
