These are trips to great nature photo locations where we will help you take that extra step to move beyond the crowd. My goal is to explore how to create NEW classic images and not just redo what has been done before. I will share my knowledge. I will show how to find, approach and create great photographs of wildlife subjects. We will search for and capture that magic light and compose a unique landscape image. I will give advice on techniques, I don't believe in keeping techniques secret. With the techniques teach you can take your photography where few dare. You will begin to develop your own vision. Most of all we have fun!

You have the opportunity to share the knowledge and tap the skills of Jess's 30 years of field expedience with the personal attention given you in a small group (usually 5 or less)..

Finally a chance for updates!! The pace has been hectic since my last posting. We have added new material from many trips and assignments including a couple from the Mogollon Plateau in Arizona and New Mexico. From there it was off to the Canadian Rockies and following autumn's progress southward into Colorado and New Mexico's Bosque Del Apache NWR with stops for fresh material of the four corners region. After Thanksgiving we were working in the Great Smoky Mountains NP where we were able to capture some material on the recently reintroduced Elk and other native wildlife. We celebrated the new year in Zion while on our way to the desert southwest for more material on Desert Bighorns, Coues Deer and wintering birds. Then on to photograph birds and mammals of the southern California coast.
